Sending Christmas cards to friends and family members is easy, because you know what type of people they are and what types of cards they would like. But it’s not such easy any more when you have to find the proper Christmas cards for the corporate clients. There are some important things that you should consider when sending Christmas cards to them.
Unless you know for definite what religion your client is, it is best to stick to a card with a neutral theme. For instance, it would not be appropriate to send a card that depicts the Nativity scene on the front to Jewish clients, as there is a possibility that they would find this offensive. It is best in these cases, to send business cards with simple “Seasons Greetings,” or “Happy Holiday” wishes.
2. Personalized Business Cards
If you have a large company, with hundreds of clients, then it is obviously not possible for you to personalize all the cards you send out. Put your signature and a quick note on the cards of the clients that matter the most to you and your company.
3. Targeted Cards
Provided that the person you wish to send a card to will not be offended due to their religious beliefs, it is perfectly acceptable to send them a targeted card. In other words, if the person is a keen golfer, then send them a card with a golf-related picture on the front, and so forth.
Moreover, to give your colleagues each a Christmas card from you is also a very good idea. Do not hand out special cards to those colleagues that you favor more than others though, as this is almost guaranteed to cause tension in the workplace.
It is the holiday season and it is the best time to send out Christmas cards to all your friends, clients, colleagues, and employees. At least you are letting them know that you are thinking of them over the festive season.
